The Radnor Arms is visited by Fay Jones (MP for Brecon & Radnorshire)

Fay Jones (MP for Brecon & Radnorshire) responded to our Call to Arms – at the Radnor Arms, New Radnor on May 13th to meet up with committee members, to find out more about the community’s project to buy and renovate the last pub in the village as a community asset.

Remedial work has taken place to prevent further deterioration of the pub, our share offer is nearly open, grants have been applied for and essential documentation is in place to proceed to the next steps.

Fay was a great source of ideas and enthusiasm for the community to finally get its pub back and offered her full support moving forward. She recognised the project will be long term but was pleased to hear our phased development is on track. Please contact us to find out how you can pledge financial support and/or get involved.
